Provision Donates Pallet of Diapers to Clearway Clinic
WOW! Have you ever calculated how many diapers a baby needs in a day? A month? A year? On average, a newborn baby uses up to 10 diapers a day, or 70 diapers a week. That’s about 280 diapers a month!
You may not think of diapers when you think of items that people may need. Typically, the first things that come to mind are food and clothing. For many low-income families, after covering the costs of housing, food, and daycare, there just may not be enough money left to buy diapers for their babies and toddlers. Making financial matters more stressful are unplanned pregnancies. In these situations, many depend on organizations that may give away diapers for free.
One such organization is Clearway Clinic in Worcester, MA. Provision Ministry recently packed its van to support Clearway Clinic with a donation of a full pallet, containing 27 cases, of diapers in various sizes. Clearway is a non-profit, licensed medical clinic that has been serving Worcester County for over 17 years. Clearway is an alternative to Planned Parenthood and is on a mission to equip women with accurate medical information and important facts, so they can make informed pregnancy-related decisions. They are specialists in pregnancy diagnosis and medical confirmation and are valuable resources to the community.
